The Original Smith Family Comic Strip got started in West Brighton in 1946 after the War.

After a couple of years my Grandparent's decided they would move to Hunter Ave on Midland Beach. 

Then after a winter on the Beach  in 1949 they decided to move back to West Brighton at 726 Bement Ave Staten Island NY is where the strip that bares the name ''The Smith Family'' was started
